NASCAR Technical Institute

Automotive Technology and NASCAR School - The NASCAR Technical Institute

Put over a half a century of racing heritage to work for you. In order to increase the number of professional technicians entering the work force, the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) and teamed up with UTI to create the first-ever NASCAR Technical Institute (NTI) in Mooresville, North Carolina: Race City, USA.

The NASCAR school puts together a training facility fully committed to high performance, not only on the track, but also in the classroom. Here students receive a broad range of automotive technology courses to train them for a rewarding career as an entry-level automotive technician with the added boost of NASCAR-specific programs and a Ford FACT elective that delivers a fast-paced, well-rounded course of study.

NASCAR Tech's spacious facility provides 146,000 square feet for classrooms, automotive labs and administrative offices. Millions of dollars have been invested in NASCAR Tech, including a significant amount of equipment and training aids supplied by NASCAR.

Students learn from NASCAR Tech instructors with real-world experience who have practiced what they teach. They've worked as professional technicians and know what it takes to succeed. The NASCAR-specific course instructors have a minimum of five years experience in the racing industry.
