Aviation Maintenance Technology Program

San Joaquin Valley College's Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program provides you the abilities and technical know-how to execute aircraft, airframe and powerplant overhaul. Hands-on educating in the hangar includes maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting and repair of powerplant systems and components.

San Joaquin Valley College's Aviation Maintenance Technology program centers on preparing you for certification as an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic. Graduates earn an Associate of Science degree and are ready to test for an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
